A proposal to expand the Castle Mountain gold mine south of Las Vegas would create jobs, but could revive the 2017 conflict over the size of the Mojave National Preserve. Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford’s trial against social media site Snapchat, which alleges harmful design for children, has been allowed to continue after the Nevada Supreme Court denied an appeal.
